That’s not quite right (having lived in Yorkshire…or rather Yok-shuh for a long time). Tattoo would be Tattoooo, Karate would be Karatee (with short a sounds). Rather than saying “In the bath” they’d say, “Int’ bath’.

Ta-oo is known as a ‘glottal stop’ and beloved of Londoners

I heard a Yok-shun farmer, who’d brought his border collie into the vets speaking to the receptionist who asked what he was in for. He replied, in a very staccato fashion, “Wull , ‘e’s booked int’ fut deh” meaning ‘He’s booked in for the day’.
Well, this guy is born/raised yorkshire and that's how he pronounces it. Can't say anything on if that's normal or not, just how he does kt.

Sounds very normal to me…slightly New Yorky…
Not even close actually.... and i have known folks with stronger boston accents than his.... it gets stronger on the Northshore......also there are multiple accents in New York, especially in NYC and they can siound very different.

It’s very understandable to my ears. Some of those slurry southern accents are unintelligible to me.

Actually Ross days ‘Karah-tay’ in the ‘Unagi’ episode…
If I were to go on Mastermind my specialist subjects would be:

1) Friends
2) The Detectorists
3) Technical aspects of the Apollo Moon landings

I can't get enough of Friends. Ross........ greatest character of all time.

And your third topic is so very niche and interesting!!! Was it just a topic that fascinated you?

The character and David Schimmer are just brilliant. But what about Niles Crane?

The Apollo moon landing were humanity’s greatest endeavour and the astronaut unbelievably brave. The technological things accomplished to get there were simply genius. The Apollo Guidance Computer, the pressure suit, a rock engine that you could throttle (in the lander) 😳 Just incredible. Did you know the Saturn V weight as much as a navy destroyer? After 30 seconds of flight it reached the speed of sound! 90 seconds after that, it was doing nine times the speed of sound! Each of the five F1, first stage engines burned 3 tons of fuel per second…more than Charles Lindbergh used on his entire flight across the Atlantic. All the engine’s turbo pumps shifted 15 tons of kerosine per second to produce 7.6 million pounds of thrust. Which man wouldn’t find that interesting? I have learned to my cost, that women find this stuff deathly boring, so don’t use these data on romantic dates.😐
