man, I am so tired.
My father-in-law passed away last night, after a week long stay in the hospital. No sleep then, not much last night, and now I have to find our good clothes....
I am so sorry. If at all possible, do find some time to rest up. My thoughts are with you and your family.

We seem to be having a rough time here with illness and loss. So, here is some new stuff from my office gallery - a little distraction at least.

I dont do beads or tequila

wimp.
on both counts

Way back in my biker days (early 20s) I once went to Northeastern University to meet a friend of mine. He took me to these friends of his, who had been kicked out of the dorm. They were in an apartment passing around a bottle of mezcal, they offered my friend a drink, he refused, they proceeded to embarrass him onto drinking it. They then turned to me and I said no, they started the same line on me, things like you're a big tuff biker, you can handle mazcal, and that if I get the last sip, I get to eat the worm. My reponse was, "I.....Don't.....drink.....MAZCAL!!!!" to which they responded...thats cool....no problem...we didn't mean nothing...want a beer?

Call me a whimp if you want, but they were bigger whimps :D

So sorry for your loss. I pray the family is close and stays strong together.

thank you.
It's tiresome, but it seems to be ok for now, but the big stuff won't hit til things calm down, maybe next week, when the funeral is over, and everybody is going on with their lives.
We did enjoy sharing stories though, because 'Pop' could tell some tall tales.
And like fishing stories, they got bigger with every retelling, too!
I just figured I should have gotten a miniature of his favorite spirit, one for the road, so to speak, although my mother-in-law would probably kill me if I tried! :D

well, there is this having a shot or two, and getting s*** faced.
Hubby isn't allowed more than a couple of shots of tequila.
He gets unruly, and I might hurt him.
But yeah, getting shames into drinking, you ain't mature enough to have any!

Went to the gym this morning, was down to my last weight machine pull down. Stood there waiting for the guy to get off the machine for 3 minutes. Then I had to ask him if he minded if I finish my last routine while he texts. He was just sitting there texting.
