One of the nephews 'came out' this week.
not that it surprised me, but Hubby is having a hard time with the news.

Expected the older brother to come out first though.....

Ah, life, never boring! :wacky:

Friend's kids call me Uncle. He remarried and her kids were in HS.
One came out as liking other girls. A couple of years later so did the other one.
From her mom to her step-dad to me and others we hang with there are no issues.
Her Step Mom is having lots of issues, to the point that she is grounded for not answering fast enough and happy enough, even if she is in her room with head phones on.

Not everyone understands. Not everyone is good about it. Best one can say is we are all human. :(

Well, it's official, I have been fired from my girl scout troop.

A bid of mixed feelings, but it's cool. The program was too fluffy for my taste.
The girls are great, their mothers not so much.

In any case, it was the result of my own actions, losing my temper with the girls.

The things I might have said might be worse... being straight forward and brutal honesty are some of my specialties :D

And... we're getting more snow here in Colorado. :(

On the up side, we're heading to Cozumel next week, where it will be mid- to upper-80's with the usual outstanding diving. :)

Practicing with kwandao today, still getting Used to swinging it. Even practiced one of my rokushakubo, tokumine no kun (dai vereion). But practicing with it sure does tire your arms quickly

And miss that beautiful snow? Besides the only thing your going to find at the beach is sand, water, and sunshine... you can put sand and water in your backyard any time you want. But snow... thats something special :D

Just when I thought....

Well, rounded up the kittens, again.
As I was digging out the 2nd one, momma wanted to haul of the first one and hide it again...

Now I have them - a little crowded, I admit - all in a crate.
Now what am I going to do with mama cat wanting to hide the litter at every turn, and the 6 little beasties being wild as nanshees at this point (but only 4 weeks old. The hissing is cute at this stage)
