What a great weekend. Football starting in an hour. Pho for lunch and I'm making beef stew for dinner. Having a few friends over this afternoon. Daughter and her fiancé are coming over tomorrow to watch the hawks defeat cam.

KS what's the word in your promotion? Did you hear anything?

I have pretty much a 'free' Saturday night for once so I'm going to spend it playing Fallout 4 and having a few glasses of wine. It's world snow day tomorrow so I'll be hitting an indoor slope near me and maybe squeeze in a boxing class in the afternoon. Happy Saturday folks

..still waiting.. - keep your fingers crossed! - my supervisor did tell me
yesterday that they're finalizing some things and will be able to communicate
more about it on Monday.. doing my best to be patient.. :/

That fight clip you posted of Bruce and O'Hara just reminded me that that was the very first time we learned from a video clip. It was 1973 and we brought a movie camera to the theater to film the fights in that movie.

Speaking of movies, since Thursday I've watched The Revenant, Spotlight, Straight Outta' Compton, The Big Short, The Room, Beasts of No Nation, Brooklyn, The Danish Girl, Steve Jobs and Bridge of Spies.
I seriously need to get a life.
