Grrrr. I ordered my new smoker a last week. Its being shipped by a freight company and was supposed to be delivered yesterday between 9 and noon. Well at 3 it still wasn't here and I needed to go to work. So I called the shipping company and they say the driver was running late (Well no kidding). They say he will be here in an hour or two max.
At 530 hes still not here and my wife has to leave. I call again. They dont know whats going on but ask if I can reschedule. I say sure Im home all morning tomorrow. She responds "well sir it cant be tomorrow we wont have time to unload it off the truck tonight and get it onto a new truck for tomorrow, how about Sat." I tell her no we are leaving for vacation on Sat morning and will be gone for 10 days. So she tells me if I call tomorrow before 5am maybe they can get it on a truck if I remind them.(So I need to remind them to do their job?)
I called a 5 am this morning and they tell me it will be here between 9 and 12 today. Well he has 24 more min before its noon and hes not here yet.............

I wish I could say I have never experienced anything similar..... but I have, I feel your pain...and aggravation

Wow... gonna smoke some brisket, prime rib and a T-bone steak?... that sounds like a good start for a pool party! Hopefully you wilp get your smoker, enjoy your vacation!

Can't smoke anything of the thing doesn't show up. They are an hour late or I guess 25 hours late

Well the grill never showed. I called at 5 and the shipping manager said "it was never put on a truck it's here on the doc." I said but I called this morning and was told it was on a truck and will be here by noon. He said well I can have it delivered tomorrow before noon. I told him to pound sand return it to sender I'll order a new one from a different company

I am too, but I now have to deal with an international mail issue, thank you incompetent US post office desk person, that will likely require me to take an impromptu 4 hour trip on Monday....hip hip hooray.....bleh

Its 92F but feels like 81F... or 78F. I dont see why everyone else is complaining. Feels like a good day to me (though a nice breeze wouldnt hurt)

I gave blood today, feeling like a hero... I wasnt very happy about it though. It took much longer then normally does and they had to start over too. I wanted it done on my right arm then had to switch to the left arm. Not sure why; I wasnt paying attention.

Could be worse: By disagreeing, you are proving you are illogical and crazy....
it really depends on the people, some you simply have to ignore.
Had a 'discussion' with one of them specialists...regarding animals, but the system is the same.
'Uh, dear, what you are proposing isn't going to work, especially assuming that everybody who can't keep an animal is an a-hole in need of punishment'
'you are crazy and illogical' followed by some PETA verbage
'uh, does PETA pay you or that?' (I have to admit, not particularly mature, but I can only take so much of the Animal Rights rhetoric without commenting...)

A while back... a long while back....I got into a discussion that was dog related as it applies to China.... man I was hated.... but you know facts is facts and the stuff they were showing was propaganda
