Posting stuff you hear on the police scanner doesn't make you a reporter. So don't get pissed at me for laughing in your face when you show up at my crime scene in your PJ pants and Donald duck t shirt and tell me your a journalist.

Somehow I have the need to know more about this...but yet I am scared to ask too :D
 
I am thinking about giving myself a mini-vacation here on MT and for the next couple of weeks put a few posters (3) that really annoy me on my ignore list and see how it goes.

We had a double stabbing first thing this morning. A woman that runs a Facebook page listens to the scanner and posts what she hears. She shows up wanting to know what the condition of the victims are and if they live in the house. I asked her if she was a family member she said no she's a journalist. I said for what news outlet. She named the Facebook page. I started laughing and she got mad and demanded my boss. I called him over and said this Facebook wanna be reporter wants to talk to you.
If you want to play reporter at least put on some suitable clothing and bring a camera she was taking pictures with her cellphone.

Use to have to deal with the 'Real' press at one of the state office I was security at, and as you know, they can be fun or infuriating. We had a governor who did not much like them once and there was a meeting that was to run from 1 to 5 and the Gov. press release said he would be there to talk at 4:00. a plethora of reporters start showing up at 3:00 and setting up. A few actually asked me what time I expected the Governor to arrive, to which I said, "I don't expect him to arrive at all, he was here and left already". And the response was constantly, "that's impossible, his press release said he would be here at 4:00", he had shown up at 1:30 and left at 2:00, They all waited until 5:00 when the meeting was over and they were all angry...

Real press don't bother me they have a job to do I get it. They know the game and the rules. It's these "bloggers" and Facebook group people that feel they are entitled to something. The real news showed up today they stayed half block away and didn't bother us
 
ahhh peace at last.... the 3 have been ignored for the next couple weeks... a trial run and who are they..well I will be more than happy to share that.... the 3 trolls that infest the pages of MT of late..... Photonguy, Drop Bear and Hanzou.....

There is a 4th that annoys me from time to time, but he is not a troll, does have skills and says things worth reading... that's the thing, if you say things worth reading I never put someone on my ignore list. As a matter of fact with the addition of these 3 I now have a grand total of 4.... .one however is from at least 6 years ago.... he needs to stay there...even though he is no longer here.

sorry no... you are not even in the top 10...you really need to work harder at this... first start blathering nonsense and talking about things you know nothing about with authority and condescension... then lose a few hundred IQ points and your getting closer :D

I hope I've never given you any reason to really think this. I disagree with you on a number of issues, but at your worst you are, as Xue says of me, not even in the top 10 most annoying poster.
