I have a problem....
I spend 3 hours yesterday in the library, mostly doing the puzzle (because at home, cats, you know)
Then I tried to pick up some books, because, well, for a change I like to read (and not just check out books, pay late fees and return without having read them).
Yesterday evening I opened the first, and as it goes 'oh, just a little more' I kept reading. Then I opened the 2nd, and suddenly the alarm went off...oops, it's 4:30....one day, 2 down.
Now I finished the 3rd halfway. The last should take a couple of days (I hope)
Problem: I can only enter one summer reading card per week, and yesterday I had one filled out.
My car is on the fritz, I need not drive around unnecessarily....
BUT I NEED BOOKS!!!!
Ok, I do have shelves and shelves of books, discovered free kindle books as well as the digital library services for downlaadable ebooks and audio books.....
Did I mention, I NEED BOOKS?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Better get going, clean the house, wash the boat.....sow grass, plant the fall garden....
But first some tea.

Do they even make books anymore. I figured it's all online
Books used to be hand written. Then typeset. Then mass produced. Now digital. Technology continues.
And each step has made books more readily available.

Fun stuff when the husband comes to terms with things you proposed (but spinning it as if it was his idea)
Or cable connection is living on borrowed time. It's gotten ridiculous, nearly 200 hundred a month for the handful of channels we actually watch (includes phone and net though, but still, only one out of three people watches TV)
So today we had a trial run of cable free entertainment. Of course, the combination lazy man and antivirus software is making for fun times:

I hardly ever get that message! I don't know what he is doing!
But then again, we do have the new money pit in the driveway....a 21 footer pontoon boat, with no carpet, dry rotted seats, an AWOL kill switch and only half (or less) of the railing present....
Oh the fun, I christen thee the Flying Wasp! (Minnow II would doom this project!)

worked for me this far, but he gets the alarms go off every single time.
I think he or Jr downloaded some bug I have not found during my cleanup session.
There is a reason I don't want them to touch my machine, although I do let him use it sometimes, while pinching all fingers crossed, and some toes!
Plus of course, he's a 'it's broke, I need a new one' kind of guy. Uh, no, buddy! Not this time!

Well, I think I may have just got in a conversation here on MT, that I knew better than to get into, that will likely not end well, that I best just walk away from now before I start openly telling certain posters (none in the LPTv4) what I truly think of them...you know...trolls
