It does work, but you get a lot of the same stuff from cheaper sources.
Berlitz has been in the business for a long time! I think I saw their program for like 40 or 50 bucks (I am cheap, so I didn't get it)
Rosetta Stone has for some people some serious drawbacks. I am guessing your boss isn't inclined to buy it for the shop....

What I had good success with (not in Spanish) was Instant Immersion CDs. I can still remember some phrases even though I had neither listened to the program nor hardly any Japanese in years.
Inu oni hikekatemas...it's a lie, since I own three cats, not two dogs :D
Works well when you can pop it in the car stereo. Nobody to judge you there - unless of course you got tome cargo in the back seat :)

There should be some classes at the college though as well.

Berlitz I'll need to look them up when I get home. The department was going to get some classes but there wasn't enough interest. Everyone wanted to get OT for taking the classes

Damn you guys are making me want to learn a second language and I've been considering taking up Spanish agains since I need to learn it so I know what my wife will be telling my daughter when she is older she's only 3 atm.

still trying to come to terms with having this cast on --- total pain in the butt :(

at least tuesday isn't too far away cos that gym night again :)

ordered more muscle fuel powders :)

I feel like such a pansy..... over 40 years of training MA and over 30 using a heavy bag and not once have I used gloves to hit the bag, always fists....Heck I use to use trees to train Sanda palm strikes with no gloves……well I have not been hitting the bag much for well over a year because it bothered my knees.... about 2 weeks ago I found I could hit the bag again so I started doing Xingyiquan Wuxingquan strikes….and…my hands and fists hurt…. I could handle about 3 hits per side per element (30 strikes) on the bag and I had to stop because my hands hurt to much…..so yesterday I broke down and went and bought so Everlast MMA grappling gloves…Yesterday I got in 8 per side for 5 elements (80 strikes) and my hands felt fine…It is not much compared to what I use to do….but it’s a start….but I still feel like a big pansy

for a long time, too...(man, dream job for a kid! ;))

That's how I get by now. Luckily people from the same Culture for the most part tend to move to the same areas so I find a kid and they help me but that gets awkward some times. Especially when the language gets more of the adult variety.
