expecting snow? :ultracool

Saw something funny today...

I was at Walmart and this old lady pushes her buggy around the corner.
A young guy who works at walmart comes around said corner from the other direction and finds himself in front of her buggy.
He tries to back up some, to get around her, but old lady keeps on going. The kid finally gets around he buggy, old lady keeps on trucking.

if that was me i probably would have been the wiseguy and make a blind joke... that or be the "good employee" that respects his elders, steps out of the way and stays quiet (she probably wont get mad and retaliate...)

I looked at the kid, he looked at me, and we both laughed. It was funny! And no, I was not the old lady running over him! Just in case you ask!

fun activity:
take candle in a jar that lost jar
cut it down to fit new jar, fill gaps with the wax you cut off
nuke new jar, fill in more gaps
nuke again
realize that the wig has a little metal piece on the end, stop nuking
pull candle out, let cool
realize the new jar has a crack
remove glass
cut yourself multiple times, with nasty micro cuts (wear gloves, stupid!)
have candle without jar....and a good handful of wax that didn't fit in with the project.
SIGH

You should do the activity I did instead.

Get a couple small trees
Soak in water for 4 hours
Dig holes
put trees in so the roots will be covered
cover with dirt
put dirt ring around trees to hold more water
water trees
walk away...no cuts, no burns, no microwaves
then go fall down stairs

Class canceled yesterday but Wednesday still good
It feels good to tell other Karate students what to do like kata, bunkai and if they argue pushups too

I have no stairs...but enough junk to trip over, not counting 3 cats....

I planted one rose over Easter...
(I had to take advantage of the poor doggy I laid to rest...it's the only way I get to grow roses on my lot...)

that reminds me of my dog messing with my neighbor, it was probably close to a month ago (neighbor man was gardening his yard and jack runs up to him (that man is scared of jack) the man runs in his backyard closes the fence. jack jumps over the fence. the man is just standing there in the corner of two wooden privacy fences and jack walks up to him just sits down and looks at him (looking goofy like always) i got jack out of the yard (now that i think of it i should have recorded it... or at least a picture....)

You know...one more person...just one more person..... decides it is ok to give me a lecture about something that has absolutely nothing to do with me...JUST because they are having a bad day...nuff said

That's awesome. We've got a couple months to go before my son-in-law comes home.
