A bullet moves faster than your knife hand
It’s not about the speed of the bullet. I don’t have to outrun it - it can only come out one place and on one direction. If I can avoid being in that line - moving me and the arm/gun - I can then control that gun. That’s harder to do with a knife. Of course, add a little distance, and I can’t do that with the gun.

What happens when you "report" a post?
Staff gets a notification. We didn't review the post discuss what needs to happen and take any appropriate action. We try to send the reporter an email or a message that we got it but I admit we don't always. We do not discuss this outcome or the actions taken against other members as a rule.

Mud run prep - tip #47. Clean your house and do your laundry and grocery shopping before the run. Having spent a couple of hours in the mud will cause you to be bothered by a messy house - even if you normally aren't. And if you usually do your chores on weekends, the mud run weekend is not a good one for that because all that crawling, climbing, jumping, turkey leg eating, and beer drinking is bound to leave you exhausted.
