I'm the opposite, and my arms have shrunken and are no longer capable of holding the phone far enough away. And if I move it far enough away to see, I can no longer reach it to type.

I need to quit washing my arms in hot water.
Now you know what it's like to have dwarf arms.

He does look quite chill in that box. Does any cat not get 20% cuter in a box?\

And I approve of your wife and daughter's cat's name.
Yeah, he's definitely a "fits it sits" cat. Put a box anywhere and he's in it within 5 minutes. All our animals are from the shelter, so we have no idea what breed or breeds he is. Clearly not a ragdoll, but from what I've read, he has a lot of characteristics that are associated with ragdoll cats. He follows me around the house, and will come on command.

These are my first cats ever. Always considered myself a dog guy, but when all three of my dogs died from cancer in the same year, we needed to change some things up.

I think we'll rescue another dog soon. My wife is looking at Petfinder, and there are a lot of good dogs looking for a home.

I love the names of your cat. Is Chekov named after the Star Trek Chekov or the great playwright Chekov? Either way - it's cool. And I don't need to ask, whom Rose Tyler is named after - any respectable nerd knows that! :)
Chekov after Ensign Chekov. We talked about that very thing on the way home from the shelter.

Both of our cats will come when called, to varying degrees. The behemoth is pretty dog-like. If he's not laying down (24-lb. sack of lazy), he'll nearly always come. The psycho is more cat-like, but will come when called if she's in a "pet me now!" mood.

I want to rescue another cat or kitten - solely for the reasons of household balance. See, we now have four males and only three females in the house. Also, we have three dogs and only two cats. So, if we get a female cat, the balance would be restored. But mean @gpseymour wouldn't let me.

Unusual but technically it's better than my old cat's name. When I was younger I had a British blue shorthair cat and I named it greyskin reason being because it had grey fur. (That's it.)

I want to get a giant maine coon . My older daughter and her husband have a 20+ lbs orange tabby named Sharp Cheddar. They call him Cheeto. He's a good boy too.

Big cats are more fun than I expected. Growing up (we got ours at 6 mos.) they have the same coordination problems as big dog puppies. And Sir Isaac (a.k.a, Iaad Meowi, Supreme Ruler of Catghanistan) is also a snuggler. There's something different about being snuggled by a 24-lb. cat than a 24-lb. dog - much softer, and he purrs loud enough to be heard in the next room.

If it didn't, we'd repeat them too often.

Doesn't make the pain lessen. LOL

I am sure you know the phrase, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

Well, I just got shamed, and I am pissed at myself about it. Should've seen it coming. Ah well. At least I know there will be no THIRD time.

I need to give a quick peek at the forecast. Wondering if it will be rainy and miserable all weekend.

I hope so. LOL Good reason to stay inside and binge watch Marvel Netflix shows.

Re-stacked the feezer yesterday. There's Xmas stuffing warming up in the oven right now as I sip morning coffee. The whole house smells pretty festive. I'm going to have some topped with a couple eggs.

I'd break out the Festivus pole if I had one.

My girlfriend and I (did I mention I had a new one?) started to watch BREAKING BAD. She liked it a lot and, while I saw no fault in the acting or plotting, I just couldn't dig it. It's kind of like CASABLANCE: widely acknowledged as a masterpiece, but it did nothing for me.

I thought of a great way to catch up to GP Seymour's posts. Actually, there are 2 approaches.

1) Break any posts I have out so I post them one sentence at a time, OR

2) post them one WORD at a time.

It was ok, but I couldn't get into it either. The main problem I had was the main character. You're supposed to have some empathy for him. The poor guy has terminal cancer and made bad business choices. OK, fine.
But that's no excuse for cooking meth and selling it to school kids.
