I'd do zumba... badly, but I'd do it. Looks like fun.
It is. And you don't stay bad at it. Like anything else, once you've had some practice, you get a hang of it and get better. It was easy for me to get into it, because I've been doing some type of dancing for as long as I can remember. But it's not required. Just as long as you bring yourself and your good attitude, anything goes. :)

Yes. Mmmm.... ribs... Although when I first read it I thought (for some unknown incomprehensible reason) "smoked some ribs" was some sort of a gnarly martial arts term.
:)

For years I've gone back to my texas roots and just smoked them with a dry rub. Last weekend though I brushed a bbq sauce I made on them for the last hour. They were pretty good.

Just being honest, I'm not going to do it unless my wife does it.

Through water...

Thank you. It was an interesting event - they've restructured some of the obstacles and added some new ones. Unfortunately, they didn't take photos at as many obstacles as in the past - would have been fun to show you all the Alcatraz, the Rock Slide, and the Pallet Jacked. There were some photos of Alcatraz, but we didn't make it into them. :(

I am back to training full on for the Half Tough Mudder in October. Just by looking at what's out there, I can already tell there are going to be some obstacles I might have to bypass. But I'll see how far I can get by then. After all, I have almost 6 months to train for it. :)

I tried running, but it didn't agree with me. :(

A few years back , one Saturday evening Mrs Xue came up with the great idea for a family thing to do, and she wanted to start the very next morning.....We would all get up early and start running...... I looked at her..... and said...just in case you haven't noticed....your husband is wearing a rigid knee brace and is on crutches....we did not start the family run....... I have since been told by an MD, due to the hips and knees...that running is not something I should consider for exercise.

Can I borrow the brace (I already own crutches) for the next time the Hobbit asks me to go to Zumba?

They turned out great. The sauce has molasses and some brown sugar and cayenne pepper and all kinds of good stuff. It has a slow heat that I like. I had bbq sauce in my beard for like three days though.
That sounds like my kinda sauce, Steve. I'm a real sucker for a molasses sauce that has heat, and I always prefer the slow heat and smoky taste from cayenne and chili.

See, now if only you had a doctor's note for that mud allergy... ;)
