can anyone provide any insight on a weapon called a jujo?
I have seen an old article on it and it was lacking to say the least.
I guess it was,at one time, a possible alternative for police batons.
Anyone know anything of this here critter?

Might want to check this site out. Looks like it has some interesting information.

Thanks for that OU!

OU? Is that because you went to school in Athens?

I am presently doing a search to find a place to purchase a jujo.

Would anyone have any suggestions to shorten my search just a touch?

At a conference yesterday, a speaker who is heading to OSU next year was introduced by someone who wanted to get it just right. He carefully inserted the "The" at the front, but dropped the "State" to get "THE Ohio Univerisity" instead. No sale.

Isn't OU where Maung Gyi of Bando taught?

I was at OSU once, years back, but have never been to OU.

yes sir.....

Dr. Gyi is still doing seminars out of athens(OU).
But he is starting to feel the effects of age.
I got invited to one last year when I was still in ohio.
My Kali instructor went and said it was great.
I have heard a lot things concerning Dr.Gyi.......
But all in all, he is a realy nice man in person.

I've seen him in person in Buffalo a few times. (As he reminds me, I still owe him ice cream.) I really like him. I too have heard conflicting stories. It doesn't have anything to do with what concerns me about him--nice guy, knowledgeable, great teacher.
