How did the baseball bats lost?

I am very curious about the people that would lose fights five times in a row, with each of the last five ending in a coma, and not thinking "Hey, maybe our weapon or training methods aren't working. We should probably change those or just stop picking these fights."

CTE can erode problem solving skills and impulse control.

Well, they were warned about the whomping willow, but they thought they knew better, although in many ways it wasn't the wierdest thing about that college. You'd think they wouldn't bat an eyelid at sentient, violent flora

Possibly the wierdest thing was how students of all ages kept getting maimed and/or murdered and everyone would just say 'Oh, right, that Potter kid again'. It was like some sort of club or, so to speak, a bat...

So, my wife and I have a nephew, who plays soccer. In fact, his whole family plays soccer.... well, all except for arnis, she thought she wood like to play baseball. The rest of her family thought she was a little batty for wanting to play baseball. When she told her grandfather, he said "Kamagong, what did you say????" She had to explain it 7 times to him, each time put him into a coma..... but arnis starts her training in baseball tomorrow, where she learns how to swing a bat.

How come 7 baseball-bat-wielding college-baseball-player males that I know were brutally beaten to comas and given a number of broken bones in one-vs-one real fights by skilled Arnis stickfighter males whose Arnis sticks are of the wood type Kamagong? Aren't baseball bats the best weapons?

Again, the wood of the Arnis sticks are of Kamagong type.

The baseball players are not trained in any martial arts but how could this happen when baseball bats are the only effective blunt weapons in real fights?

And yes, the Arnis fighter dudes were indeed ruthless people and were truly trying to brutally put the baseball players in comas and also break their bones in one-vs-one fights but how could this happen when baseball bats are the only effective weapons even in the hands of an untrained fighter?

People say that Arnis is bullshido but is this true?

Should I just get a gun or a knife for self-defense and home-defense and not a baseball bat?

By the way, I am not friends with the college baseball players. I just know them because I often see them walking in the streets here in my city of the USA state Connecticut.

While we're offering constructive feedback on how to troll, claiming ignorance about arnis but repeatedly emphasizing the importance of the sticks being kamagong was another giveaway. Never met anyone not involved in arnis already who knew about kamagong sticks.

Maybe I'm just getting too old for internet goofballs but any one of these "have I got a tale for you.." stories just makes me want to log off and go read a book. The whole story did sound like a scene from "The Warriors".

I don't even know the first thing about Arnis other than it's from Southeast Asia, but I learned more from this YouTube video than from the whole thread.

So yeah, Arnis seems legit and pretty damn cool, so why the need for trolling? Other than somebody, somewhere "in the USA state of Connecticut" is super bored. Or was, since they seem to have lasted less than a week talking with adults.
