Would somebody please explain to me why being "not from around here"Or " lost" should exempt people from obeying highway signs? Shouldn't they be MORE attentive to the signs, especially if they're lost?

I think it's more of an, "Oh s###!!! I was supposed to take this exit!" And fear of getting lost if you don't.... and excuses too.

I drive about 250 miles a day and see this a lot. People are just plain lost in their own little world, IMHO.
