When I was learning ‘Advanced Driving’ () I was told that if someone is driving too close behind you, you are permitted to use your hazard warning indicators (you’re not ordinarily supposed to use them whilst in motion) since they’re causing a potential hazard. You’d be surprised how quickly they pull back!Tailgaters. Especially with high beams on.
They should be sentenced to ten years driving an old Corvair over a bumpy road with a spring slightly poking through the driver’s seat.
Tailgaters are a pain. I usually just make sure I have enough room ahead of me to stop slow so I don’t get rear ended and then try to ignore them.Tailgaters. Especially with high beams on.

That just sounds dangerous.Similar to Buka - people flashing their lights and speeding up acting as if they're going to hit you, to get you to change lanes. Particularly when you're not in the left lane, and there's an open lane to the side.
Especially the ones who don't consider that you might not switch lanes for them, and at the last moment they swerve around you.
Never heard that before, but I will hit the hazards if I’m coming to a quick stop and don’t want to get hit. That’s pretty common around here especially when traffic grinds to a halt on the freeway. It’s not uncommon to go from 65 mph to 10mph suddenly. When I was learning ‘Advanced Driving’ () I was told that if someone is driving too close behind you, you are permitted to use your hazard warning indicators (you’re not ordinarily supposed to use them whilst in motion) since they’re causing a potential hazard. Both the Wranglers are equipped to deal with that. We have backup lights, and about 5000 lumens of back the F up lights.Tailgaters. Especially with high beams on.

I blocked a zig-zagger who thought he was some badass in his Acura on the interstate yesterday afternoon. I did it in the left lane (call 911 and report me).
I could see him in the rearview flipping me off, so I flipped him off right back.
I wouldn't have done that to a "normal" speeder. I just like to humble the zig-zaggers who treat the rest of us like "sheeple."
I drive in Southern Italy. I don't have a pet peeve, I have the whole damn zoo.
It's good for zanshin, though: you have to always be on guard because anything can happen.
I don’t know much about southern Italy. A lot of what I learned about how to drive was in Germany. The worst, most unpredictable driving I’ve ever personally dealt with was in Saudi Arabia. Every day was an adventure there.I drive in Southern Italy. I don't have a pet peeve, I have the whole damn zoo.
Oh the Middle East/Northern Africa is a fun region for that. Been in a Jordanian taxi that was doing high-speed drifting on sandy roads, and in an Algerian one that literally pushed the other cars to make room in a traffic jam.I don’t know much about southern Italy.
