I've been carrying one of these for about a year now and I really like it. I've had no difficulty getting into government buildings, concerts, or anyplace where you are restricted from carrying any sort of weapon. While I have not had a need to use it as a weapon I find it comforting to know it is there. SAP like weapons have a long if misunderstood history and are considered by many to be highly effective. Also it's kind of nice to have some change on you. It's surprisingly useful in an age where all we have is plastic in our wallets.
As a product I like the Hot Tamale it's constructed extremely well and the maker is happy to talk on the phone and answer questions. I bought mine with my own money and I'm under no obligation to say yay or nay. While I prefer to have a good compact handgun and a knife handy in our world that isn't always possible or legal and I find this coin purse is far better than nothing at all.
