Changing my flag

testing, testing. Being retired is great.
And all these years I thought you were in Washington state USA...now I find out you Norwegian..... oh wait,,,you're retired..... sorry... I am not sure I can talk to you any longer.... at least not until I retire... i may have to put you on ignore for a few months...or 2 years...deoending on when I retire...you NORWEGIAN you..... And you just had to rub it in didn't you...you are NOT only retired you are in NORWAY!!!!! That was one of my favorite countries to go to, heck, I'd have moved there if I were younger.....sheesh...a guy retires and then starts rubbing it in and causing trouble....just can't leave of envious jealous guys be CAN YOU!!!!!

:D

Wait...there are British people, Canadians and...dare I say it...Australians on MT... what is this site coming to...heck, it was bad enough when I found out there were Texans here a few years back :D
Do you know why the wind blows in Oklahoma? Because Texas sucks. General Ulysses Grant said, ā€œ If I owned Texas and I owned Hell, I would live in Hell and rent out Texasā€.

Yes please I really do not want the flag on there. As explained by Gyakuto, people will think we're gammons. No thanks.
Per the admin post below, it is apparently a new feature of the software that we can't fix at this time. Sorry. :(
It is an update and there is no way to turn it off or change it at this time. It is based on the IP address of the post... and it can be wrong but is generally accurate.

I hate to look up the definition of a 'gammon'! šŸ˜†

Most of the world dislike the British for colonial reasons and the far right have adopted the union flag and St George's flag for their nefarious purposes.

I wouldn't mind the European Union flag but of course 52% of Brits voted to remove us from that little club šŸ™„

Looks like it did. How'd you do it?
It's not one that would be a permanent solution, just me testing. Used the onion router, since it didn't pull it then that confirms that it's using whatever IP address the request is coming from for it (it's not able to get that info from TOR). Meaning if anyone uses a VPN, it'll show wherever their VPN is hosting, and we wouldn't be able to choose our location at all; if we're traveling it's going to adjust for wherever we go.

All stuff we probably already knew. Unless we can get it turned off though, if someone has a huge issue with it getting the TOR browser for MT would be a workaround. It can be found here, and tends to go a bit slower than other browsers because of how it works The Tor Project | Privacy & Freedom Online
