Yasser Arafat's Death = New Hope for Peace?

Considering that many people in the world think that Yasser Arafat was responsible for most of the Palestine suicide bombings, does this mean that there is new hope for peace between Israel and Palestine now that Yasser Arafat is dead?

There will be hope for peace if the Palestinians are able to remain organized and restrain their more militant factions. There will be hope for peace if Israel is able to start treating the Palestinian people like humans and neighbors, rather than unwanted animals.
