Defense? Just shield your head with your arm. Hurt the guy? Duck and slam em in the liver.

If you see it coming, like you see him loading up and telegraph the fact he's about to throw. And you see the signs of sucker punching tactics. Just eye jab him in the eye, flick his eye. Then when he covers his face kick him in the groin. That's one of the ways I know.

So many ways to handle the rear hand heymaker. One way is to cover up with your left and move in with a right upward or straight elbow to the chin. After the elbow connects (hopefully), the right hand grabs the shoulder/neck and pulls in for the right knee. The right hand then reaches around neck for a reverse neck crank. Try it, it’s fun!

Looking at it realistically, you should see it coming. Unless you’re totally unaware, which can happen to any of us during the rookie stage. But after that, yeah…no.

Think about it. Unless you’re totally blindsided, so stinking drunk you’re peeing in your shoes, or so focused on a personal problem that your mind has shut down with emotional angst that you shouldn’t be on the streets in the first place, or so focused on a gal that you’re blind with emotion when you’re out and about, you should see it coming.

You are practitioner of the fighting arts. What, you didn’t realize there was danger on the streets? You never thought of that?
