What do you consider spiritual?

I've done the flotation tank thing once. No hallucinations, nothing weird, just a feeling as if my brain's had a good scrub and polish. 🤷‍♂️
Oh wow, I’d love to have a go. How long did you spend in it? Did you remember to place two crystals on you heart and sacral chakra? If not, that explains the lack of being visionless!😉

Real and less exciting than what we hear. The thing to remember about them is that it's Unidentified. I think if one hovered over you, then you would know right away what it wasn't.
They don’t hover, they levitate 😑
It makes me think that maybe many people don't look up at the sky anymore.
Yeah, they’re too busy looking down at their screens to see what some ‘influencer’ is currently peddling!

Very true. Most people look down at cell phones. So that makes sense people would be confused about stuff in the sky. I was about to joke about people not knowing what stars in the sky look like, but with all the light pollution and people not looking up makes my joke about it less of a chuckle.

"One notable survey is the "Star Count" conducted by the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE). The 2023 results showed that only 5% of people can enjoy a truly dark starry sky due to light pollution". Source: Only one in 20 of us can enjoy a starry sky, Star Count results find - CPRE
Yuck.

Have you heard of the ‘God Helmet’? It a motorcycle helmet with magnetic coils place in specific places. The experimenter (Prof Michael Persinger) activates them in specific orders and frequencies and can produce out-of-body experiences, profound religious experiences (the awe of being in the presence of a god) etc in the wearer . It suggests that these experiences, reported by many people, are caused by the activation of neural circuits

Professor Blackmore attends the Zen meditation sessions I attend!
Of course they are. Who do you think was planning since the dawn of time to make those neural circuits though?

What I mean is, Elon Musk is a horrifically awful person...
(😳😳😳 He’s listening!)

I think Musky’s a really cool bloke and handsome too as are all those fine people he’s currently associating with. Fine, fine people…not a criminal amongst them, no siree

The only answer that has some explanatory value to me, is one where noone planned it, it just emerged spontanously. Otherwise the question "Who planned for Elon Musk" would haunt me. Explaining somethin, in terms of something just as unnatural is no explanation at all.

To me, if you are "spiritual" it means you believe in life after death.
But that's a religious thing.

What's wrong with believing you have a spirit right now, like the grass, trees, animals, and other humans.

Why this focus on "after death" when you can't even honestly say what it is?...

The ancient tribes dealt with this issue over more moons than we are comfortable counting, but came to the same result.

When you did your body will return to the earth from where it came. You might believe it will become part of some star, but that's just a fantasy. The Earth we live and die on is a rock of eternity. It's brightest, hottest days are long gone.

But even then, our spirits can burn every day, like a star, only smaller

That's actually quite beautiful

No sir, I don't prescribe to any particular religion.

Yes sir, If you have no spirit now there is nothing to carry to the afterlife. Spirit lives within you and every living thing.
