Yea I decided since I was up grab the fishing pole and walk a block to the lake and fish for an couple of hours. cought a few small mouth and some perch. Was enjoyable morning after all.

I live in Grand Prairie it is right next to Arlington and we live a block from Joe Pool Lake, so when it strikes me I can go.

It is where my wife wants to be, her parent live here and she is an only child. I prefer California or Michigan or any place for that matter. But you learn to live with everything.

I can understand that. I am kinda the opposite. Wife is from England and has no desire to go back...I am from Ky...and have no desire to go back. We live in Md...and are close enough to retirement (10 - 15 yrs.) to start checking out where we might want to end up. Therefore the reason for my question.
Texas is just to dam hot in the summer, if not for that I would love it.

Yeah...but I hear the rattlesnake roundups are top-notch! BTW...I like my seasons...and not much on the humidity.
yea so where are you thinking about retiring to, me most likely Preuto Rico. I just love it there.

I lived in Ceiba...outside of the navy Base at Roosevelt Roads for 3 1/2 years and loved it there. Puerto Rico is a great place. I make it back there about once every three years...usually go down to Luquillo.
I am looking anywhere in the Caribbean...just because I like the laid back lifestyle...or somewhere within an hour or two drive to the beach. We are still travelling around checking things out....and we have some time to play with.
