They moved me out of repairing anything and into project management. Now I just make sure that everyone else repairs things correctly and on time ... boring! ... but I had no choice.

Indeed...I suppose if I had to choose between mgmt and unemployment, I'd go be a salaryman, after all.

I was surprised, too. That's, maybe, 3 times in 6 years, repair did the trick.
