ok...I have one rant...ok - so, while I'm in school - I work in a call center..(is it my favorite job, no - but I am not going to school to work there!) ....so, in this telemarketing situation, I expect a certain amount of grief on the phone....but for those people who don't answer the phone during dinner (which I respect, and btw - I don't answer the phone then either!) - WHY IN THE WORLD would you answer my call during your dinner to tell me you don't talk on the phone during dinner?????? (Especially, if you have caller ID!!) I respect the fact you have a dinner time - Respect the fact I have a job to do...

It's not always clear who's calling--and if it's my credit card co., sometimes they really want to verify a charge (good) and other times they're trying to sell me on crap (bad). How can I know?

I agree it's not always clear! My rant is directed toward those who seem to go out of their way to make me sorry I called.....when in fact they could just as easily tell me "this isn't a good time to call" - I am human - it's not like I wouldn't understand..
