How the hell did our bags end up with so much stuff in them? I hate unpacking after a trip.
The return home sucked.
There were no direct flights, so we flew from Cozumel to Charlotte, where we learned that US Airways had canceled our flight and put us on a later one (which they also did on the way to Cozumel) resulting in a longer than planned layover. I suspect they were just merging 2-3 partially filled flights.
So after our long layover (we left Charlotte 5 minutes later than we would have originally arrived in Denver) we left. We flew to Denver. There was weather. There was not enough fuel to circle, so we got diverted. Flew another hour to Wichita. Sat on the runway for an hour. Got more fuel and flew another hour BACK to Denver. Finally arrived 3.5 hours later than the scheduled arrival of our already later flight.
Can you guess that we're not planning to fly US Airways again?
