Tell me something good...

Finally doing some remodeling in our kitchen. Worked hard today. Dinner tonight- grilled deer tenderloin I harvested, steamed artichokes, grilled squash and home grown shiitake mushrooms sauteed with garlic, butter and grape seed oil. And wine. A good night.
I love venison and squash! Sounds great.
 
Mrs Xue made Baozi and dumplings
We have a new chain of restaurants around here called Dough Zone dumpling house. They're expanding like crazy, opening up new locations all over. I'm sure they're not close to being as good as the one's Mrs. Xue makes, but they're good for a delicious, quick meal. My favorites are the pork xiao long bao, and the wontons in chili sauce. Yum.

Another thing, have you had Chinese Roast Pork, if so, and if you like it see if they have Cha siu bao (叉ēƒ§åŒ…) you may like it. The best I have had in the US was in a little Cantonese restaurant in Boston Chinatown.

The sparrows who live behind the clock have reared another brood and there are some very fluffy, fat sparrows around
