And yet it took a "soldier" being involved for the media to bring the toddler fights to light. I suppose that "Redneck/Ghetto Dad Tapes Toddlers Fighting" just wasn't intriguing enough to warrant the effort.

This is what I was saying earlier...not that a soldier would or wouldn't do something like this, but because of his status, the case gains popularity.

It's alot like the missing persons cases...the higher the family's profile, the more media attention they receive. The sad truth is that this stuff is happening alot more than in just one incident with a soldier...but on the positive side of it all, the fact that the case came to light at all means that it brings awareness to the problem to the general public.
