I saw an add in the Sang Moo Sa catalog for a custom made TKD school "Victory Flag" that you can take to tournaments. How common are they? Does anyone have one for their school?

I had an instructor who had one of those flags-it was huge-like a table cloth. It had the school logo on it and we'd get it out for demos, tests, and tournaments.

My formal instructor had one, gee it would be good to have one again. Now that is something to think about.

I love the crushed velvet table covers, too.

Its for things like this that I wish I had a fulltime school.:)

I've never heard of a 'victory' flag, but I have seen flags made with school logos - we used to have one in the class I started in, but it was more of a banner, from a sign shop, the kind made with plasticized fabric and stick-on letters (a lot better looking, and more durable, than that probably sounds).

I had never heard of them either. I must admit, I think they look really cool. But I can't imagine bringing one to a tournament.

We never took ours to a tournament, although we did use it for testings, and also to mark the location for our annual picnic - it was a big park!

I think the velvet table covering would look great for belt testing days. I think it might be intimidating for my students, cuz I'm a small school in a community center.
