Our Tae Kwon Do school is fairly small. We usually have an average of 10 to 20 each night with about 20/25 percent of those being female. So it's not that low, but I do wish we could bring in a few more around my age. Currently there are two adult females and one under 12, and then me.
I`d say about 35%. The number is a little higher for Kenjutsu and a little lower in Jujutsu. Female students tend to show up in groups at the dojo and for some reason are far less likely to attend training on friday and saturday unless it is getting close to grading. Two of the three clubs I have trained at had a woman as the highest ranking instructor.
In the Kenpo Jutsu class I go to, about 30%.
In the Arnis class, 25%, and that's only 'cause my wife goes to it as well
BBT, it's hard to say, we go to afternoon classes mainly since my wife works nights.
RBSD, 0.
We fluctuate between probably 30% and 60% of students in our school the owner has two schools and several P&R programs though and over 50 % of the instructors are women.
