Post some what highlights the issue. Jhoon Rhee was among the many who General Choi recruited to adopt TKD and use it to replace what they had been doing. Although many adopted it, they often retained their earlier habits. These habits were adopted by their progeny and the Chung Do Kwan habits can be seen in mny progeny of Jhoon Rhee, He Il Co, and HU Lee. Those habits were not necessarily the standard. Having said that I can't help but wonder if the prior post was tongue in cheek.
