This is essentially how I would like to make videos for the forms at my school. Not the exact format they used, but something along the lines of:

1. Form at speed
   
2. Form at 50% speed with verbal instructions
3. Form done step-by-step woth detailed instructions

Have you heard/seen anything on the new poomsae series?

No, from conversations a couple of years ago with GM Kang Ik Pil, I believe they're only intended to be used for elite competition (the current series which are good for regular practitioners, don't offer much in terms of differentiation between athletes at the elite level).
