My city is in panic!!!!

Manny, it is my sincere wish you, your family and your city have peace from this devils war that is going on. That the drug cartels are all defeated and the people can live without fear of heinous violence and senseless bloodshed. It is my hope soon it will happen. As it was mentioned the world needs to take more notice, and with the good people of Mexico put an end to these devils their cancer, and others that wish to harm the good people of Mexico. It is also my hope that what allowed the drug cartels to capture and terrorize the people will never be an opportunity again for them or any other devils. I am deeply sadden by the news.

So sorry to hear that the narco violence is now coming so close to your home. in your beloved city. I pray that you and yoor family stay safe and wish peace comes your way soon, despite strong doubt. So long as we on other side of the border continue to have an unsatiable thirst for illicit products of the coca, poppy and marijuana plants, you can bet Mexico and many other Central and South American countries will not be able to get rid of powerful drug lords. It doesn't help that in addition to paying amazing sums for the illicit product, we are also supplying the modern firepower that's keeping the battles raging.

Yestarday even was very quiet, in the streets you can barely see cars and people.Today, many children did not go to school because the fear, for example at the elementary school my youngest daughter of about 450 children only 120 went to school, in the high school of my oldest daugther in her salon only 11 of 35 students show up. This morning I have to walk in downtown and fer few people were on the streets and the shops, very very few and belive me downtown is a bssy place from 10 am to 10 pm but today oh boy....... what can I tell you, we are not used to see and hear army choppers flying so low with open doors and marine corps pointing guns to below.

My city is a bussy international sea port, big bussiness are done here and many people come to vist us because of the good people, the beutiful beaches, the splendid cuisin and the very exiting night atractions like good bars and nice discoteques and now the nights are like gost town, teh bars,restorantes and discotheques are feeling the big strike of no doing bussines because the lack of people going out at night. People stay in home.

The big problem here is the narc gangs are not only fighting ecah other but because the army and navy are figthing them these narc cartels are killing people in the streets using hand granades and shooting their asault rifles.

The tragedy at the Casino Royale in Monterrey was something dificult to digere, this weekend I drove my family in a liitle trip on the sorroundings of my city, I had to the oportunity of have a glimpse in the new navy armored cars, they look very intimdating, however there is no single day death people are find in the streets and this narc war is only beggining. Two people were caught this weekend this people wasn't narcs but they put my city in panic using the internet,social networks, etc. so these people were prosecuted as electronic terrosrist becaus e they put my city upside down past august 25th.

Restaurants, bars, even shoping malls are with very few people, we are scare to go out and be caught in a crossfire.

When I see an army or navy convoy I try to slow down and let them pass by or take shortcut to home, it's scary to see the national forces armed to the theet with even .30 cal machine guns mounted in their trucks doing patrol over the city.

It sounds horrible. And but it sounds as if it cannot get much worse. Surely it must get better soon with this kind of military involvement? I feel so awful for your situation Manny and but you are doing everything you can to stay safe you and your wife and daughters, that is the main thing.

It's sad but true, corruption and extorsion is infiltred in many places in Mexico, I don't feel secure to keep telling you about the bad and horroric things have been happening in my city cause ciber police are tracking the IP acounts of people and prosecute them because of cyber terrorism, last week two people were caught by federal police because of this and I belive they are not guilty they only gave info about the bad things that were happening in my cityon august 25th in the social net/web.

Believe me, nobody is safe and the only info we have is in the socila networks like facebook,twitter,etc,

And yes, I am afraid.

It's hard against a funding source like drugs. I agree with viewing this as a civil war.
