I was making Teriyaki sauce the other day and didn't have any fresh garlic. So I used *hangs head in shame* garlic powder. Wasabi is right next to garlic with other horseradish. It ended up in there before I figured out what I was doing. Some extra garlic powder, a couple teaspoons of black been sauce to smooth things out, and it worked really, really well with chicken and beef.
