I know it was a shock to read like that...but it is better you hear about it here than out in a strange dojo somewhereHubris among Martial Artists?

Rainy days mean a day off for me, it's great. We're going to have an awesome storm to watch later on too.I know this will likely make people think I'm crazy, but then most already think that, so..... here goes.... I like winter in the Northeast..... I like cloudy, cold snowy days too....
Feels heavy-ish. I’m sure your strength will come back very quickly.I'm back, the bad news is I appear to have lost a great deal of strength during my illness. A 10kg dumbbell actually feels heavy-ish
Yes, it’s very still here in Devon…calm before the maelstrom.Rainy days mean a day off for me, it's great. We're going to have an awesome storm to watch later on too.
Did you have to…peel them off? Also, I changed out of my pyjamas for the first time in nearly 2 weeks today and frankly I'm not sure I see the appeal
Ah, good to knowFeels heavy-ish. I’m sure your strength will come back very quickly.
Research shows that muscle strength only begins to decline after 3 weeks of sedentary behaviour (cardio is about 2 weeks). Any actual loss will return within about 4-6 weeks of reestablishing training.
I quoted him the other day. He once said "i refuse to join any club that would have me as a member" I was joking about an invite to a place.
I've heard of it but never played it before. I was once a serious chess man. Now I'm into backgammon. I still play chess casually sometimes. I never tried go but I'm interested. One of the other threads here has made me want to play go again. I haven't played in years, but last I played I was at a point where I could easily beat anyone who recently learned the game (ie: anyone I played with in person), but I'd lose very easily to anyone online. If anyone is up for playing, and wants to either learn the rules or is okay with playing a beginner, send me a message.
I like backgammon as well. I can link you some apps/websites (depending what you prefer) that teach the basics of go. Or we can find a site to do practice games and i can teach you myself on voice, entirely up to you.I've heard of it but never played it before. I was once a serious chess man. It was awesome! loads and loads of rain and wind. The power kept tripping out, but never actually went out for any significant amount of time. Other people got hit much worse. How’s the storm going @Prince_Alarming?
It wasn’t as bad as predicted here in the South West and the wind hardly impacted upon my sleep! It’s been worse on other recent occasions

Please tell me of some sites to learn. Once I figure it out I'd be interested in playing you. Thanks.I like backgammon as well.
