Watched the Boston Marathon today, the only marathon I pay much attention to....probably because I use to live near where it starts
I went to the finish line a bunch of times, watching people I know finishing the race. My wife used to have a garaged parking space right there at the finish line.

I only went to the start in Hopkinton once. One of the coolest things I've ever seen. The runners just kept coming and coming, seemed like forever. It was very exciting and the crowd was enthused and very supportive of all runners.

I use to live in the town next door to Hopkinton, and although I have been to where it starts several times, I was never there when the race was starting. Always wanted to, but it was one of those things that you figure you can do next year..... and then you move to NYS.

A year after I moved a good friend of mine ran in it, but he didn't tell me until AFTER he ran. Otherwise I'd have been there

I did my marathon 35 years ago. I love running since then.

Woke up at 6:00AM to 2 inches of snow on the ground......
Left the house at 8:00AM it had changed to 1.5 inches of slush.....

after 3 days of rain, we are having a cool morning.
I needed the break much more than my yard needed the rain.
Now, off to see if they left me some chickens!

I'm not in denial and I don't know its true.......wait a minute..... you seemed AWFULLY quick to respond to this..... you're with the bacon mafia aren't you... trying to kill me with bacon...... how insidious....evil...and just plain nasty...... I can respect that :D
I'm with the United Church of Bacon. Can I talk to you about Porky?
