Really, butterscotch is just butter, brown sugar, and cream... so it's very similar in flavor.

Ok I know this is a dumb question, what is the difference between caramel and butterscotch then? They definitely are not the same.

I think it’s the type of sugar. Brown sugar / molasses for butterscotch.

Errant day - sort of.
Ran to the post office, Stopped by the farm store for some catfood the gang likes, and the Dollar and a Quarter Tree, found some treasures there.
Off to the liquor store: Our system is down, cash only - urm.....
To the bank, which is near the farmstore and $1 1/4 Tree store, to the ATM, then back......
Stopped by the grocery store on the way back, for ice and juice
When I loaded the car I realized I had inadvertently stolen 2 bottles of BBQ sauce.....
it was hot, with ice.....oh well...... I am just a born criminal I guess.
and I am pooped
And I meant to do something constructive, after the dogs served a dead rat as midnight snack up.
It's been a long day and nothing got done.

So I'm going to preface this by assuring everyone reading that we are OK.
Sue and I were robbed at the Loves in Fountain, CO. this morning. It was truly horrifying. After I got past the initial shock, I called the police. They arrived quickly, were extremely professional, and really helped us calm down. They asked if I knew who the robber was, and I said yes.
It was pump #7.
