be careful, my brother.

Its a weird one. Living in North Louisiana, I am usually getting ready to go south to work the hurricanes....not prepare for one at my own home....I live 3 hours from the gulf...WTH?

The center of the storm is about 30 miles south of us.....getting 40-50 mile wind gusts.

Power is out and just got notified I've got to report to work at 6 pm to deal work an evacuation shelter.

Made it thru with no problems other than power out.

Sadly, our friend's training center got destroyed in Lake Charles.

Has anyone heard from Jobo lately?
He's been oddly quiet the last month or so. Was wondering too, but hadn't heard about anything happening in the UK.

Just checked his profile, and he hasn't posted anything in like two weeks, but he was on 17 minutes ago so if you need to reach out to him you probably can.

I just hit us in middle TN. Serious wind and rain for what we are used to.

lordy, I hope I pulled all the perishables out of the car yesterday.

when I left the house it was ok weather, I had planned to cut the grass.
when I came out of the store i started drizzling, then the skies opened up!
by the time I got home it was pouring buckets.
worried that the stuff on the boat would get wet, the kid was offering to open the bimini tops up.
SO I helped him right quick. It went from 'man, I am getting wet' to 'DANG I am soaked' in a hurry.
Like being in a pool with a waterfall. I was wet down to the sock!

I hope you have a good auto-bilge pump in place. Hopefully nothing serious.

I have had a Long couple of days. We completed a system startup about 1:00 am this morning. Because the plant was still in production we could only take the line down after noon each day. Wednesday I started at about 8:00 and left at 2:00 the next morning. Thursday I started about 10:00 and finished about 1:00.
It is a sortation line and the parts being scanned are non-uniform in shape which created challenges. Had to pert test three times and certify PPAT twice which is unusual.
My mind and body cannot bounce back from days like that nearly as well as I used to.
