Good news - our leaky basement is finally fixed. What you are looking at here is all the water our basement specialist had to drain off before he could dig and install the sump pump. Since it was INSANELY cold, it formed a miniature polar cap on our driveway.

Apparently, one of the side effects of my medication is being able to shoot lightnings from my eyes.
Actually, it's not even that good. What he drained off before and during digging was all poured out back. That's what drained off after the pump was installed. Now I have to figure out why that drain isn't working, so we can get rid of the skating rink.Good news - our leaky basement is finally fixed. I got out there and removed most of it. It was more than 3" thick in some places. I think I've finally managed to clear the drain above it so it won't do that again.
