Getting ready to move, furniture shipped. (thanks, Xue)
Tames, that was nice, bro, thanks for asking. I didn't realize how that post might look.

Moving to a private tropical island?

Not private (pop about 160,00) But there will be no more shoveling of snow for this old bastard. :)

one of those islands With white sand, crystal clear water and palm trees as far as the eye can see

I can think of a couple things thats worse to shovel than snow, but good for you! :)

That's more like the Caribbean. But, I really don't do the beach all that much, maybe once or twice a year. But you should see my mountain! I really love my mountain.

I'm not big on the beach either...but did you say mountains....... now that interest me...

How are things going with the move?

Just one mountain, but it's a corker.

The shippers took all our stuff, except for essentials we'll either carry or mail. We're paying rent as of today over there....and yet, no plane reservations as of this morning. (long story) Doing that today, with a stop in L.A to say hi to a couple folks.

Back to the mountain - Haleakala is 10,023 feet in elevation. We drove to the top four days a week back in the nineties. (we were living at 4,000 feet). Can't wait to get back there. It's my wife and I's favorite spot on earth.

plane tickets can be a pain, I will have to tell you the story about the trip I just finished planning one of these days.

I liked L.A. (ok, to be honest it was Santa Monica I liked... a lot... but it is close to L.A. :)). I like the sound of Haleakala though, I shall have to check that out someday.
Good luck with the move my friend, I hope everything goes well

Home from a two week road trip. Packed a lot of fun into two weeks, but it's good to be home.

Road trips are great. Especially nice long ones like that. I'll bet you're tired, though. :)

I hate mowing the yard, my arms always break out in rash. Not fun but the yard looks better now.
