Ugh.... What is UP with promoting people to jobs they don't know anything about. My father always said, "If you want to be a good boss, you must be familiar with everything your subordinates do, or at least have an idea. Better yet - try your hand at their jobs. That way, they can never say, 'You have no idea what I am going through,' because you do."

the other lady they hired in on a salary position as Patient Ambassador has no clue either.
She is sweet, and really eager to do a good job, but the other ladies are about to cuss her out.
"well, you could wipe this down, and that, and......"
No, love, not gonna happen.
oh crap, need to go back to work tomorrow, for three days, then the weekend is free.....

When I was in management many years ago, I knew every single job under me, as I had worked my way up. I never asked any of my employees to do something I couldn't or wouldn't do. I also didn't let them whine that it was too hard either...lol.
It sucks when they bring someone in, or promote within, someone that has no clue. It's insulting..

Nobody say anything frivolous for at least 20 seconds. I was able to do a full side plank in yoga today. On both sides (although the left side was a bit wobbly and collapsey).

Rather tired of people changing things because they can, rather than because they should be changed. Also tired of people with nothing better to do screwing things up. Or doing thingd without checking with those it may effect. And special people being given carte blanche...

Seriously considering finding a small ceramic mushroom for my desk.

Mrs Xue planned a little quick get away for the weekend for the family..... just checked the weather where we are going...Thunderstorms every single freaking day...and when we return home...Thunderstorms.... I'm not a big fan of flying a it is.... now it will be in Thunderstorms....oh hooray

Cool fact: people in Phoenix generally don't go into their pools until the sun goes down. Too damned hot, otherwise.

My brother had a heat pump on his pool to heat it in the winter and cool it in the summer.
