Not by you. But apparently there is a line of guys who have blocked me.

They even unblock me just to tell me how blocked I am.
Lol. @Tez3 does this to me, too. Not unblocking, to my knowledge, but occasional barbs or allusions to how mean I am. Like @wingchun100 , I like most of her posts, too. There are a few I don't like. But they've created a convenient fiction that works for them, and that's their right,. Doesn't mean i have to stop reading or responding to their posts.

Oh, I thought you were trying to say you thought I had you blocked.

No. See, I don't block people who merely disagree with me about Wing Chun or anything martial arts-related. I do, however, block people who attack my character and are just plain rude.

Latest writing projects? I finished revising my novella "Maybe the Dream Knows What is Real," and I saved it as a PDF. Soon it will be getting posted on a website in serialized form.

Okay, managed to finally get back to getting back to running. For those not keeping track, I started back to running 32 days ago (according to my exercise journal). There was something "off" in my ankle, and I tried to run through it for about a 1/4 mile (.4km for those using a logical, organized measurement system). It didn't loosen up, so I walked the rest of my planned 2-mile run. The result was that I've been unable to run (literally, unable to use that ankle in a running motion) until 3 days ago. Got my first run in on Saturday (2 miles, alternating walking and running at my desired pace) and another today (1 mile, relatively slow, hating the hills).

I'm reminded how much worse my breathing capability is (and always has been) than my muscular and cardio capability. I've never managed to get my heart rate anywhere much above 60 or 70% when measuring. I simply get too out of breath to push to that point. For example, at the end of my run to day, I measured my heart rate at 126 bpm, just under 60% of my theoretical "maximum". I was entirely out of breath, and my legs were pretty tired (from being out of breath - I'll have lactic acid again, even from that short run).

It takes me a long time to get my breath/oxygenation built up to where I can comfortably run a couple of miles. As soon as my breath becomes comfortable, my legs' ability to carry me increases immediately (proof that it's an oxygenation issue, rather than muscular weakness). I wonder how much of this is a very mild version of the exercise-induced asthma I used to deal with.

Just felt like sharing that.

I dread next Saturday. Why? Because that is when I start the workout program Insanity: the Asylum Volume 2. And the reason I dread it is because this is the first program I'll be doing (well, the first in a long time) where each DVD is 50 minutes or longer. What that means for me is: no more ability to do workouts on my lunch break, or if I have space at the end of the day between work and an appointment.

That means having to do these hour-long routines when I get home from job #2 on Mondays and Tuesdays, or after any appointments. Luckily, the amount of appointments I have is starting to slow down. Then again, that is a small comfort because at any given moment, those could shoot through the roof!

I've never had a good place to do such things at home. Next house we buy, I'm hoping to have a room I can exercise and practice in, with a door to keep the dogs from deciding to play along.

My girlfriend's sister and brother-in-law are moving to Costa Rica, and we are taking over their house. I look forward to having doorways that are sturdy enough to support a pull-up bar again!
