Lady instructors

We have a couple of ladies in our dojang who are ...bruisers (and I mean that in a respectful manner). They have absolutely no problem mixing it up with anyone. You can't tell they are female when they have their sparring gear on. And that's the way it should be.

Wade, sorry for just logging back in I was on vacation. Anyway Miles said exactly what I was trying to convey. Respect the person first and foremost as a martial artist and fighter if they merit it. Gender should be a non-factor... :asian:
 
Ok, I'm in a weird situation. My best friend is my instructor. I giggled the first time (so did she) about "names." But since I am her highest rank now (her highest rank other than me is a green belt, because her dojang is fairly new), I had to set an example for the lower ranks. I said "yes Ma'am!" She was happy with that.
