I am puzzled because some people I know said that Arnis is just bullshido fantasy even if the Arnis fighters are using Kamagong wood for their Arnis sticks.

People lie. Are they talk about things that they don't know about.

Yes but no one here ever still explain to me what's the reason why the Arnis fighters destroyed the college baseball players in terms of skill, weapon practicality, etc.

Like what is the reason? That's the main reason I am asking this in this forum.

Because someone who is trained, actively practices using a weapon to fight others with a weapon, and understands how to use footwork and generate the correct power for striking, are going to be better than someone who does none of that all other things being equal. Both a bat and an arnis stick have pros and cons, but knowing how to use them (for fighting/against weapons, not just hitting a ball) and how to fight matter.

Going to add to this, that kamagong wood is hard. Not sure if you've ever felt it but it can really pack a punch even with a light swing. So it's not like it's got any less lethality then the wooden bats.

Even though I am sincere for answers, you're kinda coming off as thinking of Arnis as bullshido. You seem to think that any untrained wooden-baseball bat combatant would effortlessly destroy Arnis Kamagong-wood-stickfighters unscathed everytime.

Do you people think that Arnis is impractical, useless, and has never proven itself in real-life historical conflicts? Okay, I respect your opinions.

But yeah, that was my experience. The 7 wooden-baseball bat-wielding college baseball players that I know were wrecked big time by 7 Arnis Kamagong-wood stickfighters.

Keep in mind that the area I live is not peaceful. It's kind of home to crazy people. Yes, I am an unlucky person which is why I am asking people if I should get a gun, a knife, or a wooden baseball bat for self-defense.

I don't want to be offensive but do people here think that any untrained baseball bat user will effortlessly destroy Arnis Kamagong-wood stickfighters?
