Ed Parker in the Martial Arts hall of fame

That list is half legit and half Hollywood....

Professor Chow is not listed and he was the single most influencial Kempo Master of all time.

Steve (Sanders) Muhamed deserves it but Billy Blanks? It's just a list lot's of desrving people not on it. what about Leo Gaje, Angel Cabales etc. etc.

Jeff

Ed Parker was a Hollywood guy, makes sense that he's on a list with other Hollywood people.

Either way, IMHO, He definitely deserves to be in all of the hall of fames.

What about James Mitose Hanshi or Bruce Juchnik Hanshi? Are they to be ignored. I see the heavy hand of Hollywood abound in all this.
Yes there are many deserving people on the list, but a few just for their name recognition. Just my opinion.

2002 - Nancy Kwan
Nancy was one of the first Asian actors to open doors for other Asian actors in
a more prominent role. With films such as the World of Suzie Wong in
1960 and The Flower Drum Song in 1961, Nancy helped to change
Hollywood and peoples opinions about Asian Americans. A Tai Chi
practitioner, Nancy received the first Funakoshi Award in 2002. All
Asian performers owe her much gratitude.

Just a thought here... Everyone else has a hall of fame. Maybe we should make one of our own here on Martial Talk? Or perhaps over on KenpoTalk?

Now... That might be interesting.
