LOL.My husband and I make coffee with a French press. On the morning of our last Tkd testing, which is always a stressful day for him because even just grading lower belts, he is very embarrassed in front of large groups of people.He tapped the grounds out of the French press with his left hand, and his tungsten carbide wedding band shattered the glass of the French press. For a moment, he looked so upset I thought he would never again move from that very spot, grieving the French press for eternity. Instead, he helped me pack up the kids faster than I have ever seen him do before, and we were at Tim Hortons in the blink of an eye with two extra large double doubles in our hands. It's the fastest we have ever gotten out the door for testing.Coffee is important - as a social tool, a beverage, a drug, a simple pleasure. lol... so while I don't think someone should get fired over it, i certainly understand the message he was trying to relay with his colorfully worded office memo.
