Do you think/feel/know, if its cultural appropriation/supremacy to teach a martial art if you don't come from the specific racial/cultural/spiritual, group that created it?

Im not answering on the question on this thread all Im going to do is read the replies
Please feel free to post your opinions, reasons dont have to be listed.
If you choose it can be a simple Yes or No
If you do not wish to discuss with other people, or get insight from them/share your own insight, then what is the purpose of posting here?

You are not entitled to my information and have no respect for what I said.
I set a commuication boundary with you
acknowledge, respect and accept that

I have as much respect for you as I do anyone else here. But if you're going to provide a communication boundary that's basically the antithesis of the place your posting, I do wish to know why before I accept it. I also am not forcing you to reply to me at all.

Would you like to share your opinion on the question I posted?
This isn't a court room
You arent under any obligation to speak

I chose not to give my opinion on this specific matter and just wanted a space to provide others to do so
...if they would like to
theres no obligation for anyone including myself to say anything

would you care to share with everyone reading this thread?

My opinion is that the question doesn't make sense. It's like asking "Do you think the sun is green", which is why I asked why would it be. The question itself seems so bizarre and obviously one-sided that I don't understand it's purpose.

Again not looking to debate.
Just looking for simple answers.
Feel free to post your opinion and I will thank you for it regardless

That wasn't me asking for debate, but rather clarification of your question. However, the answer is no. Just as obviously a no as it would be to say no to the question "is the sun green".

I do that on most threads. The only time I reply is when I think there's miscommunication, I'm acting as a mod (which I'm not here), I need clarification (which I did here) or I feel I have something valuable to share (which I potentially could depending on the clarification).

You have no respect for what I say

No. Mostly because I think identity socialism is more about division and not inclusivity.

Of course it is. I've found the best way to avoid the claim of cultural appropriation is to be xenophobic and racist.
I strive to only eat the food of my blood ancestors, don't wear clothes made in another country, only listen to traditional folk music and don't associate with anyone not from my home country. Of course I support lots of local ethnic restaurants and markets by purchasing their products, but not consuming or using them as that would be inappropriate. All I ask is that everyone else do the same, so we can live in the harmonious bliss of exclusion.

Of course I don't consider teaching a martial art from a culture that I do not belong to to be cultural appropriation. The great thing about the U.S.A. is it's a melting pot of cultures and ideas. It is that very diversity that makes us strong as a nation and individuals. I love that I can have Mexican food or Italian or Greek within a short drive of my house. Somewhere in the world a foreign person is singing an Elvis song and that is perfectly okay too.

The White Cloud Mountain Minnow is all but extinct in it's native habitat in China. But you can find this popular aquarium fish in almost any pet shop in the U.S. The whole world flies airplanes yet they were invented right here in the U.S.A.

I find the entire concept of cultural appropriation to be rubbish. The Earth and it's diversity should be enjoyed, practiced, and celebrated.
