What's that song ?

I guess we all get to it ; you hear a great tune on the radio or somewhere else but you don't know the name/title.
I don't know about you but for some music i just really need to know what it is !

There is some help on the net and i wanted to share it

At first there is midomi

Just sing a bit of the song and they can find out what it is...
I found out about them because a co-worker came up with their mobile service.
Honestly i have to say that the mobile service works very good but the website didn't know any of my tunes ( or i should stop my attempts to sing )

The other service is songtapper wich is completely different.
You just have to get the rythm and press the spacebar in the same way.
I've tried out a dozen of songs and the one i've "typed" always came up in the first 5 songs in the results list !
Great technique and really fun to try !

HA! On song tapper I did one song and it's first guess was right on (If I Fell by the Beatles)... the next song I tapped out Alan Parson's Project's "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You"... and it failed heh... got 'em...
It guessed In-a-gadda-da-vida though... but missed on John Denver's Anne's Song.

neato-mosquito... kinda fun to see if you can beat it or not. heh
