Hmm…. yeah, like you, I see a number of things that are quite familiar, but not quite the way it's shown there…. no sure… there's a lot of similarities to Sekiguchi Ryu, but the raising of the sword (kasumi), the noto, the way the gent there is using tatehiza instead of seiza all say that it's not Sekiguchi… There are a few similarities to the way Kuroda Tetsuzan does things, but again, some major differences… There looks to be some aspects similar to Bokuden Ryu, but again, not quite. Thing is, I'm sure I've seen this system before… I just can't place it.

I agree, it looks very much like that fellow. The movements are a little different, so the art he is inventing seems to have evolved a bit. It does appear to be an invented art to me though.
