I'm sure many folks will see some very similar basics here.
I understand that there will be a great deal of crossover within silat, but this Malaysian system just made me smile with familiarity even if it were at the basic level with only a few things. I've seen many silat and kun tao systems that also looked similar and some were somewhat strange to me in technique while I could see the same principles and concepts being used. I see quite a few things missing, but they may only be demonstrating a particular aspect at the time, or hiding movement which is common.
Regardless, I liked it.
