Tyson vs Paul

Son, I don't know who you think you are, but you don't send me places. Say what you need to say, or don't speak at all.
Did you just call me son? Wow, the anger and projection with you is strong.

I've been boxing for about 30 years, since I was 9.

You talk like someone who has never stepped in a ring, which would explain your really strong opinions.

So be it, spectator.

Lies.

LOL, your opinions on the fight between Paul and Tyson: "He won because he wouldn't stay in the pocket" - show that you're not even a spectator, let alone a fighter.

Secondly, it still doesn't make sense to take hits, even if you don't fear their power.
How many hits have you taken in boxing?

I've taken over a thousand, which is how I can spot nerdy guys who have taken zero and you fit the profile.

Feel free to prove me wrong with words, but so far you are coming across as a "fanboy" of Jake Paul.

To do this doesn't mean that you are a better fighter. It just means that you don't fear your opponent's skills or power. The first fight that night was a perfect example of what I'm talking about about. One boxer didn't fear his opponent at all. The things that he did are things that we would never do. The fighter was literally delivering baby punches to the guy's stomach.

The Indian fighter slapped boxed and baby punched his opponent through all rounds. His opponent wanted to be seen as a boxer but the Indian fighter denied him that honor through the entire match. That's the match that I didn't like. People complained about the Tyson match, but the first match was a waste. I rather watch 2 kids spar than that first match.
Oh I would like to change my comment about the Indian Boxer Goyat. Slap boxing is his thing it appears lol

Lies.

Listen I don't generally bother with internet trolls who can't find their toes, let alone grass.

So, you can stay blocked.

Bye Felicia.

If I wasn't finished exposing your lies, someone else will pick up where I left off.

You are thinking Point Sparring and Floyd Mayweather
I am almost positive he's never boxed in his life. He just wants to throw out challenges online, fine, I don't need his kind of negativity.

Not only was he unaware of the year of smack talk leading up to this fight, he can't even analyze it properly.

Listen, I was a boxer from youth. I got personal lessons from this guy back when I was super poor training the a literal ghetto.

Here I am almost 40, I know a thing or four about this sport, brother.

I know why Taylor was given the decision too. Serrano took too much damage and that can factor in and override
The damage that she took was from the repeated headbuts that the kept eating. That busted eye wasn't from a punch. It was bad and it looked worse as punches landed on it.

Taylor was dying in comparison. The head butt saved her.

Watch the fight and you'll count more than 5 and I dare say 10 headbutts delivered by Taylor.

You know a thing or 2 about sparring and how the scoring goes. So you would be in the same camp as Floyd Mayweather. But all boxers don't make it a point scoring match. I can show you years of of this type of evidence. I can also show you Boxer's looking for that glorious KO.

Like I said. Not every boxer tries to win by Point Sparring. I gave 2 recent examples of that and I got a long list of Mexican fighters I can post who were all about that Machismo.

yeah I'm not really paying attention to that argument that you two are having. Other than trying to avoid getting sucked into it.

I just know that there are
  • fighters who focus on winning by points.
  • Fighters who don't care about points unless they see it as the only way they are going to win.
  • Fighters who are focused on winning by dealing out punishment.
  • And Fighters who show that they are tough enough to take what's thrown at them and giving harder punches in return.
The last 2 often have corners who remind them that the fights are scored and not to be taking unnecessary. The reason why they have to be reminded is because they don't care about the scoring. They want to dominate.

I personally fall in that second group. I don't care about points. I only care about my techniques landing. If land a punch then the point will take care of itself. But there are some who only care about the points. So the punch that they throw may not have a lot of power on it, but it will score. This is not me which is why I suck in Martial Arts point sparring. I would be willing to get hit with a weaker punch if it means I can land a much harder punch. I won't ever make an adjustment just to score a point for the sake of scoring a punch. This is also why I don't like Floyd Mayweather, he's skilled but he's willing to take those small punches to score a point. To him a point is a point.

Yeah, Irish boxers are great at the dirty business, and it's a sad fact that the judges will often give the decision to the less bloody fighter, unlike the movies.

I've had my eye opened up like that before, you cant even suture it, you just use glue.

I thought Serrano was robbed but wasn't surprised the Taylor the champ kept her title. Barrios vs Ramos was one of the best fights I've ever seen.

I think the age of glorious KO are kind of over, and that explains all the complaining about this fight..

Two types of people in this world, the people who have lived their lives inside a ring, and the couch potatoes. The potatoes want to see a KO, the Ring folk want to see skill, endurance, and resiliency.

Which I thought Tyson vs Paul showcased, even if Paul is going to abuse this, Mike still has it at almost 60. I'm jealous.

Good for you brother, it's not even an argument, it's some Internet nerd trying to troll me, in denial about who Jake Paul is and how he talks.

He called me "son" and a liar in the span of about 30 minutes.

So now he's crying to himself. Who needs that type of person in their daily lives? I sure don't.

"Hot Lunch", the boxing spectator.

I did Google out "Jow Ga", that seems like a pretty legit boxing art. And you come across as a chill dude. Thanks for your insights.

A problem child, indeed..with a big bushy ginger beard🙄
He probably has a beard to reduce the impact of punches that land on that area.
IMO, a solid beard can also be used

1) to conceal a smug face

2) to build self esteem and communicate manhood and authority

“No razor has ever come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man."
-- Samson, Judges 16:15-17 Then she said to him, “How can you say, ‘I love you,’ when you won’t confide in me? This is the third time you have made a fool of me and haven’t told me the secret of your great strength.” With such | New International Version (NIV) | Download The Bible App Now

Some great scientists also had great beards, Charles Darwin, Lord Kelvin, James Clerk Maxwell...

The fight definitely wasn't fixed.
The first round Mike came out normally. However, after that, I realized there was likely some type of agreement between Jake and Mike. It's good business for them. The people that are saying there is no fix, 58 years old or injuries is exactly what Jake Paul wants to hear to keep his business model running.

Four years ago, November 28, 2020, at 54 years old, Mike fights Roy Jones. It was an exhibition fight with a no-knockout clause. This is a fair fight as advertised. There is a stark difference in boxing skills that Tyson displays in this fight...

Mike stayed in the middle of the ring most of the time. Jake let him. Mike did not try to set traps. Mike would slip (defend) but not counter. Neither one tried to walk the other down and finish with a KO.
Another commenter on Paul vs. Tyson:

"Anybody telling you it’s not fixed is delusional. Mike was holding punches back after the second round after going ahead on the scorecard.

The purse was split from the get go. That right there tells you that it was fixed. There were numerous opportunities for Mike to throw punches but chose not to.

It was all a big marketing and money grab event."
